The picNYC Table

The picNYC Table by Haiko Cornelissen Architecten is a grass-covered table that attempts to transfer the user to an outdoor location without actually having to be outdoors. The grass-covered table brings a living element to mealtime and, as the designer points out, makes spilling water a necessity rather than a burden (saves money on coasters too).
