As all of you know Instagram is the photo sharing app with fun filters. German designer, Markus Gerke has come up with the idea of Instagram filters built into a pair of sunglasses. Since the proposal, many people have started working on the project, and we are eagerly waiting for these Instagramic sunglasses known as Instaglasses.
What you will get if you apply every single Instagram filter on a single photograph? Belgian blog Appelogen wanted to find out by experimenting with an individual normal photo applying each filter over another. The end result an “abstract” looking photo with a white patch at the center.

You’ve probably already heard the news that Facebook bought Instagram for a billion dollars this week. As expected, changes were in store for the photo-sharing app. Well, for its first move Facebook has introduced new Instagram filters. Actually, the whole thing is a joke courtesy of Cool Material, but surely whatever changes Facebook makes to Instagram will be equally bad.
When Instagram launched its first app in October 2010, it did not strike most people as the kind of startup that would be acquired for $1 billion. Designers at Visually have compiled an infographic that documents the startup’s journey from photo app to $1 billion startup using, appropriately, Instagram photos.
